stoves 560 oven heat problem

Hello,,,
I have a stoves 560 si,which has developed a problem where you turn the oven on,put the level up to 9,and the flames will stay at that level for 5 mins before dying down to a low setting,after that it wont adjust,it just stays there,,,,all help appreciated,,,
