Stoves 600 SI DO DL Gas oven

When the oven is of the white dot indicator avove the control knob no longer returns to the correct position

This only seems to be anindicator problem as the gas is being truned off corrctly

So really the problem is that – because the dial doesn’t start at off we no longer know what Gas mark / Temp we are setting

Is ther a way to get to these indicators – I presume something has allowed them to slip

erm, no its a knob and a bezel

if its not one of those, its the thermostat thats faulty, the latter being more probable

This one is a plastic disc behind a glass fascia, stoves had a problem with it and came out with an update, a small metal disc that stuck to the plastic one to strengthen it.

That seems like what I’ve got
Any idea how to get at them to re-allign the disc with the off position
