Stoves 600GR (Rotostar) Oven Switching Off

I have a Stoves 600GR (Rotostar) oven that after it has warmed to the required temperature it switches itself off with the red and green led alternatly flashing. Does anybody have any ideas ?

It sounds like the cooling fan isn’t running causing an overheat problem, if you could post the 05??????? number please from the rating plate it will help 🙂

Thanks very much for the reply Dave. The only plate I can find is one with the Model Number (444445114) and Serial Number (40808954) on it. Is there another plate somewhere else ?

The 444???? is the one, Stoves use that type on the later models 🙂

Almost certainly as I suspected then, you need to check the cooling fan motor (with the power off :zap:)

noooooo this appliance would not work at all if the cooling fan was faulty,if its flashing red and green then the only people who can fix this are either a stoves engineer or an ex stoves engineer the cooker is going into hard lock out and its far too complicated for anybody else to fix…….. oh and make sure the bank account is healthy too before you ring them, as parts for these are not cheap. In fact i would recomend getting insurance before you ring.
