Model 059041458 double built-under gas (gas grill top, gas oven under).

Have a problem with this that I not seen before.
Switch the grill on at the grill control and it goes into an ignition sequence. The grill burner ignites OK but continues trying to ignite.
If the grill control is then turned off, the grill burner stays lit.
Power has to be isolated to the appliance to turn off the gas supply to the grill.
If power is then re-introduced, the grill stays off until the grill control is turned back on – the above then has to be gone through to get it to switch off again.
There is no physical gas cock, the grill contol is simply a switch applying power via, I believe, a PCB to a solenoid valve. The control switch is operating on/off OK (tested).

Has anyone come across this fault and if so does the problem usually lie with the main PCB running across the fascia??

    Thanks in advance
