    Hi all,

Can someone please advise. My missus mentioned the oven doesn’t work and then I find that the thermostat switch has been pushed in… Whilst trying to reconnect (with the power off) most of the connection have come loose and come out – does anyone know or have a wiring diagram on how to reconnect please so that I can put this bloody thing back together…?

    Ta

UPDATE – Stoves have said it’s the Selecter Switch that wires have come out from but as I’m not a registered Gas Safe engineer they can’t pass me the wiring diagram…

    Any thoughts please

As you are not a Gas Safe engineer no one on the WTA would be able to pass a wiring diagram.

All work carried out on a Gas or duel fuel appliance should be Gas Safe tested.

    Sorry unable to help

Stoves are quite correct in what they say, we also endorse the same as public safety is our no. 1 priority this gas link explains.

Articles 7 and 8 apply as well in this link when it comes to wiring and tech info.

Sorry to be the harbinger but a gas safe appliance engineer is the best and safest way forward. Our find an engineer search here could be an option if you don’t know of anyone

    HTH 🙂
