ParticipantHi,
I have a Stoves oven 600DFSI 050554045 dual fuel cooker that needs oven stat replaced.I ordered one from connect, but when I stripped cooker down, found that the one supplied was different. less connections. The connect discription does say that this replaces EFG206 but has less connections. The one from connect has EFG205 stamped on it.
I tried connect again and this time got another stat.
This one also says it replaces the EFG206 but has even less connections. The basic 2.
I suspect Stoves have done a modification but would appreciate any help, maybe a diagram from someone.
Thanks

Not sure then. I was just wondering if they had done what Zanissi did with some of their stats. I doesn’t sound like the right part. I had this last year with a Stoves cooker, my local supplier had a right carry on, and kept getting the wrong part sent. It wasn’t their fault as it turned out. Some sort of mistake down the line. I ended up going directly to Stoves who checked the part before they sent it. Sorry, I can’t help. Steve

I should add that I had to take the number off the old stat. It sounds as if you have the same problem. Stoves (Glen Dimplex) 0151 426 7011 and ask for spares dept. They were very helpful, no discount but at least I got it sorted. Steve

Hi
Thanks for reply, its the EFG206 I need, it has more connections on it.
I have 2 stats from connect so far, Connect states they both replace the EFG206 but unless I modify wiring, no way.Anyways I tried typing in EFG206 and yet ANOTHER stat comes up, so I will try this.
Thanks again for taking the tine to help
Brian
