stoves oven

i was called to this stoves 600ef single oven, the back pannel in the oven has started to corrode there is 3 holes that have appeared,the rest of the oven is in good condition and it is only a couple of years old, i realise that they are made not to last but this seems a bit poor, has anyone else come across this?? the customer is thinking of taking it up with stoves but im not sure if she will get anywhere?
