ParticipantI wonder if anyone can help/advise with an issue with our STOVES Richmond 100G range cooker Model 4444445373.
The gas cooker keeps tripping its 13A electric supply that it needs for its ignition/fan/clock etc, upon investigation the 240v mains flex terminates via soldered connections to a PCB into a small 3″x2″ Kigass Electronics aqua coloured box, the PCB itself is blackened & charred and when the mains is reconnected this is where the flash occurs and then as a result it trips the fuse.
I rang Stoves/Glen Dimplex and they in return sent me an item drawing for my model and it appeared that the item was an Ignition Generator with a key code of 388A and an associated item code of 082825103. Therefore armed with this info I ordered via a locally sourced repair specialist and they in return rang me the next day to say it had arrived, on collection it was not what I had expected, therefore on the strength of the item being possibly mis-picked they re-ordered, only for the same wrong item to be redelivered.A week later i still have no cooker and I wondered if
a) Can I buy the PCB individually to the unit ?
b) What does this PCB do ?
c) On reflection I also realised that my Fans were not also working prior to this problem, will the PCB problem also affect the Fans or may I also have a seperate issue with these?Ultimately i need to resolve the problem, have you any advice and do you sell the necessary remedial parts.

Hi Ed,
The ignition generator should be this one:
Or, this one…
Neither are the part number that you have.
The cooling fans do fail on those cookers but there are other possibilities that could have caused the failure although it is unusual to have the spark generator fail due to another issue.
In all honesty though, it may well be cheaper to get one of the guys in to look at it and repair it for you as playing parts bingo is an expensive pastime.

2 Ignition Gemerators listed, 082825103 & 082598000, fan control p.c.b is part num’ 082814400..
As Kwatt posted, its best to get a repair guy out, flashes from a P.C.B & a Gas cooker are the recipe for a disaster.
