Stoves Richmond top oven/grill cooling fan constantly running

My Stoves Richmond 100ei top oven/cooling fan is constantly running. It’s doing it as soon as I switch on power to the range before I even put the top oven/grill on. Any ideas on how to rectify this????

a lot of stoves appliances use an electronic board to control the fan, if it has one thats the palce to start

cany be certain as you state the model name but not the model number

looked on our trade websites
although not all parts are listed i cant see a circuit board
if it has no board then its likley they use a thermostat mounted at the top to sense the temp and turn on the fan

my approach would be to follow the cables to the fan and see where they go
one will go to common point like an element to pick up a neutral
the other should go to the stat

when you find the stat you need to check it with a meter as when thingd are cool you should not get a reading across it

Hi did you manage to sort this mine is doing the same on for hours after did you find the thermostat as I think they have one but not sure where it is thanks
