Hi – I have 2 faults with this appliance. First was the flo tube not coming on when any switch is activated. I changed the tube and starter and it works fine BUT stays on all the time and doesn’t turn off at all. On inspection of the switches I can’t see how they would turn the light on n off anyway. ANY IDEAS

Secondly the cooling fan motor is always on even when machine is cold. I had some help from UKW and changed the ceramic resister that goes onto the terminal block cooling motor connects too but made no difference. If I take off one spade on it the motor does stop. Then I traced the brown wire to grill door microswitch and the blue wire goes to a small pcb on the top of the oven. Opened the grill door and got a reading between brown n blue wires. Does this then tell me that this pcb is at fault or is there something else I’m missing ????

could be the pilot connection on the grill energy regulator isnt completey switching off. Disconnect the the wires from the grill reg to prove this. Think the 2 faults are related. If not then it will be the pcb which times the cooling fan.
