I went to this machine last month to refit the rusted outer door seal clamp and change the motor brushes.

Got a call last week to say the machine was sticking mid cycle. Booked a call for last week but she rang back to say it was now working.

Rang again this morning to say it was sticking again. When I called this afternoon she tells me that it has done this on the odd occasion a few times in the past 18 months, now she tells me. :rolls:

I did notice that the machine appeared to have filled a little higher than normal.

I drained it out and set it to TEST to check on the error log and it came up 001..faulty fill valve triac, this may explain the high water level.

I then let it go through the 11 stage functional test, it failed to fill on step 2 ( fill from prewash valve) but it did complete all of the other steps perfectly.

After checking both valves and all of the wiring I replaced the PCB.

Now here is the strange thing.

I decided to test the new PCB and it would not fill on step 2 of the functional test either.

Also when I tried to advance it through the next steps it skipped from step 3 which should have been ‘fill from wash valve’ and went straight to step 7, clockwise motor action. ❓ ❓

I ran the test three or four times and every time it skipped from step 2 to step 7, missing out everything in between. 😕

I tested it on prewash and it is filling into the prewash drawer so I am now waiting for the customer to give it a try.

    Jim.
