fit a new compressor to a built in fridge there was gas in when old pot taken off,fit new one and gassed up running fine with thermometers in i went to feel the back of the fridge for frost and it had bulged out very evenly all over. the machines pressure has stayed solid for 5 days running on test cutting in and out.took it back and cust now says the shelves dont fit because of the slight bulge!!.has anybody seen this before and what could cause this???

    cheers chris.

Hidden evap type? Sounds like a blown wall and unstuck itself from the evaporator. Be surprised though if it was colling effectively though.

A common problem on a lot of the Whirlpool intergrated units where the rear wall has seperated from the Evaporator,
