Stupid, more stupid and MFI sales assistant

Goes into MFI on Sunday, looking for 15 kitchen units and associated stuff. Done all the planning, measurements all done, its a new build and all the floor is tiled, the electrics are all in place, cause thats how I’ve planned it, water is where it should be.

Explains all of this and sales assistant asks me to come back on Boxing Day, as she can do better prices in the sales. I explained I had all the info, so easy to plonk into her planner, press save and I’ll leave a deposit…..no chance. Not interested at all.

Needless to say I won’t be joining the miles of traffic trying to get into the Boxing Day sales on ANY retail park and I’ve found somewhere else to spend my money.

I hope MFI can improve the service in 2006 otherwise the repair work I do for them will start to drop off, because of sales assistance who can’t be ars**

We’re not going to sell you something today because we can sell it to you cheaper in a few days time.

Yet MFI are in the financial doghouse with the city.

Perhaps the sales team are on a larger commission to sell after xmas when cash/custom is in short supply??

Correct me if I`m wrong but I think Kevin was looking for Boxing day prices. Not defending MFI sales staff but I doubt anyone would get away with that.

Sorry Bryan, wrong.

I was looking to buy my kitchen units. Boxing day was their idea.

I found the same kitchen units with the same handles available at another retail outlet. Within a couple of £’s of the normal MFI price and they gave me 60{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} discount, with a site visit to check my measurements.
