Ok, I’ve downloaded and printed the manual as I managed to lose the original in the move last January…
I need to clean the condenser unit, the manual just shows a picture of it and says to pour water into the rear through to the front to clean it out..
The silly question is.. the rear and the front are identical, so, if I put it back in the wrong way round does it matter?
At the moment the rear is wet and the front is dry, but when it gets wet from washing it the whole thing will be wet.. should I use a permanent marker to distinguish the front from the back… or does it not matter which way it goes back in, as long as it’s clean and dry? (unless I’m blind and there is a difference between the front and the back of this part?)
You see, I don’t actually know how the condenser unit works (as I’m female – all I know is that it gets rid of the water from the clothing, I’m guessing that the heat of the tumble dryer turns the water into steam, then the condenser turns it back to water to collect in the water tray underneath.. but does it have to be a certain way round (front and back, top and bottom) to work?)
Hope someone can help me with this silly question! 😉
Carol.
