Sump hose ball on ISE1606w

Been asked to attend this via UKWG repair Requests.

Theres something blocking the sump outlet so I need to go back and remove sump hose to check
If its a physical obstruction then its chargeable but if its the sump hose ball is that a warranty claim? and if so how do I get paid.

Also can I access the top of the sump hose by removing a paddle rather than remove sump hose and then spend forever trying to refasten the hose clip?.

Would a sump hose clip of a Hotpoint fit?.(unofficially of cause)

you can remove a paddle but its limited acces once you do and the edges of the drum are razoer sharp. Instructions to remove are in the user manual.
