    Anyone know wheres best to get a few reed switches to replace the whirlpool dishwasher type. Tried RS but their postage charges seem many times the order value.
    I have a Maplins fairly locally, anyone get one there and if so can you remember part numb?

    As I remember Maplin CL37S is the one.

    RS don’t charge me carriage.

    I just got an invoice for a pack of 10 resistors @ 6.4p each + VAT @ 20{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d}.

    Invoice total 77p delivered next day by Parcel Force in a nice padded envelope.

    Not worth getting the bus to Maplins. 😀
