For quite a while now we have been seeing the decline of our private
washing machine repair business . A lot of the machines are uneconomical
to repair or when they can be repaired people are unwilling to pay a fair price .
The days of fitting hotpoint bearings and spiders a few times a week are gone for good . Any how we have decided to start supplying and fitting new washing machines . Any advise on where to get these ie direct from the manufacturers or third parties would be greatly appreciated .

    Start with our own:

Sell them at a profit and keep the service work. Complete no brainer when you think about it.

    Hi peeler40,
As mentioned above ISE or DAD is a good start, if it is any help this is what I do.

Appart from repairing I sell washing machines, I do not have a shop but rent from one of these secure storage places for £15 per week all in.

My space will take 8 machines or 16 doubled up, when your customer is faced with a BER they are more likley to take your advice re “what should I buy” question, you then have to decide what that advice is and supply the product.

Your price should be competative based on your low overhead cost ie, your storage space.

Try contacting your local Euronics dealership. These independent shops may be happy to supply appliances to you at a discount price.Keeps there stock moving. They may charge you slightly more than other trade outlets
but you can save on storage/delivery costs ect. Eat out of there expensive
    warehouses.
Try the worst they could say is No.
