Hi I would like to swap the motor from my old bosch wfo2464gb washing machine on to a bosch wae28162gb they look the same would this be ok to do? I have had a look online and it a bit confusing to be honest with numbers but it seems ok 🙁

No the stator is wired differently in each case. The WFO is 1200rpm whereas the WAE is 1400rpm. Indentical looks can be rather deceptive! 😉

Dunno?……either it won’t work at all, will flash up an error code or blow the circuit board I should think. What’s to lose eh? Plug it in and switch on then let me know the end result so I can add it to my little black book. 😉
