ParticipantHi floks, dishwasher is giving me an A01 on the fault code…Anti flood. Fixed leak. now it’s giving me the same code with no visible issues. Checked antiflood micro switch. open cicuit and closed curcuit when lever is engaged. Seems all is well but ir the unit is switched on with no programe selected it does go into a constant drain with no error on screen. Any one have this issue on these models? Thanks..

Does it have a three tag micro switch on the float assembly, could you have popped the plug back on the wrong connections?

Yep. it has three tag but has a block connector which would not allow you to connect up the wrong tags.

I’ve seen it done in the past. 😉
What happens if you try it with the plug disconnected?
I can send you some info if you need it, PM me an e-mail address.

Apart from checking the insulation on the heater and the main motor I can only think that it may be a PCB fault.
I usually give all of the base components a good blast with a hairdryer if it has been leaking.

Had a the same on a Hotpoint dishwasher today – constant drain no program selected. Imagine my surprise when the base was dry as a bone. On checking the insulation to earth I found the heater was less the .5 meg and causing the symptoms.

Yep it has rust marks on the base and even up to the wash motor… could be an earth leakage from there?? If I unplug the wash motor that should answer that question??

Not always because the drain pump feed is routed through the main circulation pump on some models so unplugging the main motor would stop the drain pump anyway.
