    Doing a Tricity Bendix AW1000W washer (PNC 914213002) won’t heat – no voltage getting to the element. Element is OK, loom is OK. We are going for a new timer/pcb (all in one) unit.

    Does anyone have any wisdom on this problem? Are we to be left with egg on our faces when we fit the new timer and it still won’t heat?…

    Help appreciated

    Try the NTC – if it is shorted it will bypass the heater section. The values for the NTC are:-

    @30 deg= 17300 ohms

    @40
    deg= 11500 ”
    @60 deg= 5460 “
    @85 deg= 2320 “

    It is fairly common for these timers to fail on heat, but check the NTC first. 😉

    HTH,

    Steve.
