I have replaced the heater unit in the T520VW Tumble drier and still no heat. Old element was broken. I suspect it’s one or both of the thermostats. One has 250 Volts through it when power ON (Power feed from within drier)the other showing a low voltage. Low voltage has continuity when OFF. The other (250v)has NO continuity when OFF All wire to the element show power when test lamp held near.
It does say on Creda site that both have to be changed
    Ideas anyone?

as far as I know this element has 2 thermostats above it . disconnect one wire from each stat then check for continuity across each stat if yes no fault . if no that’s why you have no heat

Thanks Dave. Tumble dryer not with me. I have ordered a pair of new Stats. If it’s not them any other internal thermostats or parts that fail. Timer works perfectly. Until heaters went it was running perfectly. I will try checking the Stats over weekend.

no heat on early dryers can only be stats (front and rear) heater or timer
