My hands can stand the washing up no longer so I am think of getting a tabletop dishwasher. There are only two of us so we should get away with having a compact version, although in reality we have no choice because we have no room for a freestanding model.

Our other issue is that we are renting and I’m loathe to have to drill holes anywhere to plumb it in as we would have put make good any alterations should we move out.

Am I right in thinking we could have one without plumbing? ie; connecting to taps (it would be housed on the draining board, right of the sink)

Make my day and tell me it’s possible please? 🙂

Most ‘Sink’ top dishwashers are designed to be connected to the sink taps and drain into the sink.

Hang on until the morrow and Don, our resident new appliance guru will give you some options. 😉

Not many table tops around these days, low volume sales means higher prices compared to full size machines. Zanussi still produce one, but my favourite has to be the Bosch range check out the colours two year guarantee as well.

The tap adaptor iadom mentioned is something like one of these here the waste hose will hook over the sink. Just make sure it can`t snake everywhere by perhaps tying it back to the tap as well.
