Tacho generator

Fixing a Spanish top loader,the magnet in the tacho generator has spilt into three parts.The motor is a selni made in france with a ref no sav-55×3025.Are the magnets easily available?

There is no cross-reference between any washing machine made for the Spanish market and those made for the UK market. Besides you haven’t given us the make or model number of that Spanish top-loader for us even to hazard a guess. But I would suggest it’s unlikely if you did we could shed too much light on sourcing a replacement tacho generator magnet for you anyway.

Best you ask the suppliers of said product in Spain the question to be honest. If it’s anything like Selni motors fitted on appliances here then just getting a tacho magnet would be impossible unless you search the scrap yards that is?

Hi Martin,
I didn’t put make and model no as it is aFrench machine made for the Spanish market.I was hoping that the motor was common place across europe and maybe someone knew if there were any refurbished ones around.
After hours of searching it seems it is a Fagor/Brandt group machine and the only place you can get a replacement motor is France at 189 euros.
Looks like another machine heading to the scrap yard.
