Re: TCS Midlands Ltd on watchdog "dyson repairers"
easy AM2010. im not sticking up for any of the co’s on there, but i am gonna play devils advocate.
most of that was all within the letter of the law, and think laterally about this, as there was a degree of entrapment on w/d side…
since when has a washed filter, performed as well as new one?
A: highly unlikely, so when prompted by the actor, will it be better than that (i.e, original) of course it would be… but only by a negligeable amount, but in the technical interpretation of things that w/d were assessing the “engineers”, its a correct statement…
from the video evidence, what i saw was the devious art of interpretation. the only legal letdown was the coldcalling, and promised of a complete stripdown and electrical test… the rest of the footage i would have interpretted as someone who offered their opinion, and the customer. setup or otherwise was given the opportunity to say nay. on more than one occasion they actually prompted the “engineer” on other parts.
i put myself in the engineers shoes, and from that perspective i would have been a bit sussy about the initial vagueness of the client, and then her sudden inquisitivity of her brushroll. id be thinking, ooh hello, is this a mystery shopper/ head office spotcheck to make sure im doing what i should, which would explain the change in focus from “you could” to “you should”…
plus classic james dyson response of “only our own stuff is of good quality”… well im sorry t!tface dyson, your belts are sh*yte and too soft. always use the slightly tougher qualtex ones and theyre ideal… plus why were you holding up a dc01 b/r vs a dc07 clutch b/r ???
