TDC32 condensor dryer front seal leaking???

    Got one of these condensor dryers in for repair, I have fitted the main motor. While doing this repair I noticed the front seal had come off so I replaced it with the new type of front seal I had left over from a different job. While testing this, it steams the room up like mad and I can feel steamy heat leaking through around the drum front which causes a condensation build up on the worktop lid which is right over the timer so its dangerous. The water reservoir is clear, the condensor is TOTALY clean and so are both parts of the water bottle connection. Have I used the wrong type of seal for this machine perhaps?

    Is the door channel behind the filter blocked? Otherwise I would suspect the seal.

    No such luck, its totaly clear, was one of the first things I checked.
