ParticipantHi
Is anyone else having problems with this disk>?When Its run it eventually the activex bar at top comes up and asks to download a file. Downloaded that and ram it does nothing with it.
If you run it again the activex bar comes up again.
PC has Win XP SP2 installed. Will run on laptop using ME, used to run on the XP one. Thanks

Is this the 2005 disc? I had this problem with it a while back and did a complete re install to cure. I’m on XP and have both Acrobat 7 & Acrobat 5 from the TDS disc on my system, most of the time it runs OK.

If I remember I also stopped Acrobat from searching for, or downloading updates. I seem to remember it was the last update to Acrobat 7 that caused the problem. you may need to roll back system restore if you have allowed Acrobat 7 to update.

Hi Greg, mine is version 2005, I am now almost sure the problem you have occured on mine as soon as I allowed Acrobat to update itself a few months back, I even posted on here at the time and others had a similar problem. Mine is now working fine after un installing TDS, Acrobat 5 & 7 doing a registry clean up, then re installing everything.
Just make sure that you un tick the auto update/update promt options in Acrobat.

Adobe Acrobat Reader is most definately the problem when TDS goes t**s up. Ver 5 & 7 run fine as does Adobe Reader Professional, Ver 6 has a compatabilty issue with TDS or TDS has the issue.
