    Just bought a new ‘puter and cant install TDS 2009 on my Windows 7 OS
    Can anyone help please, this is doing my head in!

    I think you may have to run a ‘mirror’ of Windows XP. A new system should cope with that easily enough.

    Try running the installer in XP mode (right click and choose from dropdown).

    Try right clicking the Setup file and run in administrator mode.
