    Hi,

I have a Teba SOS60 built-in electric oven. Tonight it suddenly tripped the electrics for the whole house. On turning everything back on gradually I found that it I could turn the power on to the oven, but it would consistently trip the electrics if I tried to switch either the oven or grill functions on from the main switch on the oven.

I’m guessing something is shorting out in the switch, but I’m no expert at all. Could anyone suggest what the problem could be?

If I need a new selecor switch, can anyone point me the direction of where I could get one?

    Many thanks

    Simon

    Hi

Is it when you switch the grill or when you switch the oven on ?

they are 2 different elements both of which I have in stock (think I’m the only one who does have them at the moment.)

    Hi Bryan,

It happens when I turn either the grill or oven on.

The temperature light is also on and flickering very slightly. Thinking about it, I can’t remember whether the temperature light is normally on when the unit has power to it but the oven/grill is off, common sense would say not, but its one of those things I have never paid attention to!

    Thanks for your help.

    Cheers

    Ok…

is this a fan oven or conventional as the model number you are giving is a range of ovens..

if you pull the oven out, on the top of the casing is a label with a bar code on it.

could you e-mail me at r600a@hotmail.com those details
