KeymasterWe recently moved home and were told that the built-in oven was new. We were not left a manual for the oven & it is driving my wife & I crazy because we can’t seem to fathom the controls – they don’t seem to work in any organised way.
There are two dials: a left-hand one for temparature, and a right-hand one that has four settings (at the 2, 4, 8 & 10 o’clock positions).
We thought that the left-most two were for grill/half grill & the right-most ones were for oven/half oven or top oven/bottom oven but we really aren’t sure as things burn on top when we expect them to cook & burn on the bottom when we expect them to grill.
If anyone can shed any light on this before we die of food poisioning or starvation, we’d be grateful.
RegardsMark & Clare

Hi,
I have checked the parts listings, the user manual isn’t listed and there doesn’t appear to be a UK website only the Turkish (where they are made) one, which is OK if you can read Turkish.
I would suggest you phone the UK appointed agents, Independant Service on 01977 665590.
Hope that helps
Dave.

KeymasterHi Bob,
Just sent you an e-mail, but not sure it went through! I know this was a long time ago, but we are back on the subject of Teba Gunkol!
We recently bought a reconditioned TFB46GB51, but it came with no instruction, we haven’t a clue how it works and would like a hot meal sometime soon, can you help?
Kind regards,
Anna

Anna/Mik
We do not have any instruction books, they can generally only be obtained from the manufacturer as they are often copyrighted and we do not have permission to reproduce them.
Richard has suggested that you call the Teba hotline who can hopefully help you and he should know, trust me.
However, this is always a danger with reconditioned products as you have no idea of the age or if the instructions will even be available should you require them. The only thing I could suggest is to contact the number as above or return to the seller and see if they can provide instructions.

ParticipantOk will do, was just kind of hoping that Bob might have one he could copy and send but I’ll try the number. We did manage to get a warranty with the cooker, so hopefully all will go well!
Thanks again
Anna

Hi
We’ve just moved into a flat with one of these “Arrow” or Teba ovens and like others it’s driving us mad ! Ours has got the 2 knobs that Bob has described above but also 5 buttons in the middle – a bell icon, a cooking pot, a Stop ( with cold pot ) and + & – buttons. Cannot figure them out at all ! It usually just blows cold air, and on the couple of occasions when we’ve managed to get it to actually heat up a) no idea why and b) it usually stops when the timer dedcides to, and can’t figure how it reached that decision…
If anyone can offer a detailed description of how to use these buttons we’d be really grateful !! We’re not technophobes at all and I’m personally very into gadgets, but this is one of the most non intuitive and infuriating user experiences I’ve ever had !!
many thanks for any help, and for putting us out of our misery,
Dan and Ella, Devon -
