Technivorm Moccamaster Coffee Maker .- Model…KBGT

My above coffee maker has stopped working…The red on/off light comes on but the orange light does not come on when the Carafe is put into place!.
The Orange light gives an occasional quick flicker if the white button is pressed in and out multipe times.
Any ideas as to the most likely cause?.
It’s an expensive machine so don’t want to give up on it.
Hoping someone can help me..Thanks

not seen one of these but you need to find out if spares are available

if you cant buy spares then it may not be fixable

I’d be taking the base off and continuity checking the switch that detects the carafe. I doubt a filter coffee maker can be all that complicated (famous last words!).

Ah…Not so complicated..It seems to be the other microswitch – The one that’s activated by the float when the water level is high enough.
I’ll confirm when the part arrives….Thanks all.
