Tecnik 2677 Runs and Runs and Runs……

Hi guys,
I have a Tecnik 2677 Dishwasher, which is approximately 4.5 years old. About 6 months ago I had the pump replaced, which seemed to make the machine work wonderfully.

Anyway, From yesterday, the machine starts it’s cycle and just runs and runs and runs – my girlfriend noticed it was still running after about 5 hours!

The only thing we can think that we have changed is that i filled up the salt and rinse aid the other day – since then it hasn’t worked properly. If we put it on a rinse cycle, it goes through the 30 mins cycle and stops.

Any help please!

It also doesn’t seem to be getting hot in there…Is this broken and need a brand shiney new one?

Hi Doobrey,

Sounds like either a heater or thermostat problem, both will be located underneath and neither being faulty should scrap the machine. Power off if you go in to have a look.

Thanks – I’m new to this – how would I determine if either 1 is faulty?

Just meter them and see if they’re okay.

And at that stage Doobrey I’d suggest you get a professional in. You need to be able to meter the components out to check them for continuity to determine which one/s are faulty.
