I have the above model integrated dishwasher.
It has an intermittent fault where as soon as its switched on, even with the door open, it begins pumping.
When left for a couple of weeks it seems to rectify itself – the fault soon returns after a couple of cycles.

Can anyone shed any light on the problem and a possible fix?
An idiot friendly version would be ideal as my knowledge of dishwashers starts and ends with loading and unloading.

    Thanks

Flood protection operated – water in the base moulding will operate a float switch, which in turn runs the drain pump.

Pull the plug, drag it out, remove side panels and tip the machine over to drain the base. Try then running a programme and see if you can observe the leak.
