    Hi, Tecnik fully integrated dishwasher, model number on door: SE6TIE2GB/46 FD8405. It is made in Germany, a Bosch machine I think and about 12 years old.

    Dishwasher has suddenly developed a fault where it will not start the program cycle.
    Symptoms: After closing door to start, there is a periodic clicking sound emanating from the control board in the door located just under the program selector buttons. This is accompanied by a clunking sound as the cold water supply inlet valve opens and immediately closes in time with the clicking from the control board.

    I have removed the water supply hose and checked the strainer filters are clear of debris, so no blockage there.

    Any advice would be much appreciated.

    Gained access to solenoid inlet valve and measured DC resistance at 3.7k ohm. Is this a healthy resistance?
