    Hello, first time caller here…

My Tecnik dishwasher won’t stop trying to drain when I open the front. I have tried resetting by pushing the appropriate buttons as per the user manual but this doesn’t have any effect.

I have switched off at the mains but when Is witch the power on it keeps continuining to drain and then I get a inlet water fault showing on the panel.

    Any ideas?

Base underneath will be flooded, flood protection activated so drain pump running and over-riding any programming. Drain the base, if it does it again it’s “Hunt the Leak” time.

    Power off first.

Thanks for that tip, which I will try later today.

Would the programme overriding include continue to try to drain when the front door is opened and when it normally cuts out?

Ok, leaving the door open for a while seems to clear the problem and it switches itself off. However, on restarting the programme the low water error light comes on and after a while the pump restarts and goes on for a while again.

Is this indicative of a water leak in the base?
