Tecnik Tkr6610 8539 755 15051 Thermostat

Hi,

I need a new thermostat for this integrated fridge freezer. Connect list 5045172228888 as a replacement at £19.69+vat and it says it has a new modified lamp holder but the thermostat itself looks different.
It also lists a Smeg thermostat 5045175702248 as an alternative to the one above and this looks identical to the one we have but at £58.30+vat.
Just wondered if anyone could point me in the right direction on which one to go for and has anyone fitted the one with the modified lamp holder if so, does it come with instructions.

The original one is obsolete Ray, not a hope of one or one that’s a straight swap now. The Whirlpool replacement for it, they made that cabinet, is a VT9 at a stupid price.

The closest I have found for that is this one:

It fits and works but it’s a bit of a pig to get into some of them but, there’s that, a VT9 or a new fridge… that’s the choices on offer.
