My dishwasher has stopped working, put it on a full cycle and never ends. it drains what is already in bottom, fills with hot water, then makes a ‘Buzzing’ noise. and washing tablet is still whole at bottom of dishwasher.

The same happens if i put it on a rinse, it empties, fils with water then makes ‘buzzing’ noise.

I have emptied the water from the drain at bottom, and checked that water is coming out of drain hose when cycle starts.

any ideas

So you’ve got no circulation then? Pump is either jammed or seized, or the start-run capacitor has failed.

Power off if you intend to investigate this yourself.

is there anything online which would help me find what i am looking for, and how to fix pump.
