Since new I have had an issue with this dishwasher and has been repaired twice under warranty, which has now run out.
Today it has the power light but no programme lights at all, I’ve checked the float level which had very little water in it and tried to reset the programme lights. Still no programme lights at all. It only 2 & half years old and used twice a week . Any ideas. Steve

There should be no water in the base at all………

I’m afraid it looks like the usual Chinese tat – they tiddle water everywhere (the circulation pump is especially bad at this) and the elcetronics fall over for fun.

I really wouldn’t advise you to spend money on it.

Re: teka dw6 55 f1 dishwasher stopped working

We have had exactly the same problem this week. The same model and everything. We have a power light but when we goto put a setting on,it`s just dead.
We contacted Teka today to not only find that `SPACE KITCHENS` who fitted our kitchen along with the dishwasher had gone bust, they had also LIED to us regarding the warranty. The extended warranty we had bought is not worth the paper is written on and Teka are not budging.
I then contacted a dishwasher engineer using yell.com,to be told plain and simple and i quote “Teka products are low cost budget products with mickey mouse parts in,i advise you to scrap it and start again as i won`t be able to get the parts to carry out the repair”

So it says it all really,i feel totally ripped off and i urge you both to keep an eye on watchdog as i will be writing in regarding TEKA.

There is no happy ending here apart from we are in the process of ordering a `proper dishwasher`……just to highlight some good advice, and i`m by no means telling you to suck eggs but……..Don`t buy Teka again!!!….happy future dishwashing 😀
