    Please can someone help me with the following error.

    This just happened last night, was working fine .

    I turn the dishwasher on, green light appears. I then go to hit the P (program button) and it beeps at me and lights up the following lights;
    glassware
    rapid wash
    soak
    half load indicator
    6hr light on the delay indicator

    no other buttons work, if I press and hold the P button, all these lights stay on and it beeps continuously.

    Please can someone help me..?
    Thank you.

    Left to right, 1-6 (I think….) which ones are lit? I suspect you’ve got one of the Chinese ones, which usually points at a board failure because of the leaks into the tray under the machine.

    Thanks for the reply penguin.

    There are 7 LED’s. Going from Left to right, it is numbers 4, 5 & 6 that are lit.

    This unit has only been installed and working for 2 months. Although the company that fit it (space Kitchens) has now gone bust.

    Any help you can give me will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

    I think that that’s the flood protection system operating.

    The tray under the machine has enough water in it to operate a float switch, which over-rides any programming. You need to drain this water out and allow the machine to dry out before trying again. Standard leak is caused by over-foaming, usually a result of multi-function tablets. These little horrors froth like mad and run down the over flow tubes or turret and flood the base. Separate products are a better bet, or a low froth detergent like Fairy Bursts if you wish to avoid a repetition.

    If you want to know what you’re up against, put ‘chinese AND dishwasher’ into search for this forum only…… Pretty grim reading.

    Power off first if you’re doing this yourself, please.
