If anyone has a picture of the fascia of the Stoves EFa600H I would very much appreciate receiving a copy. My graphics have also disappeared and this guessing game is getting tedious.

Although this is a long (and old) thread, I would like to suggest the following.

Find a local sign/graphics shop who make vinyl signs and lettering.

they should be able to make facsimilies of the originals (assuming you can get a picture from one of the posters who bought a new fascia.)

They will also be able to do a clear vinyl overlay to cover the print-area….the finished job would be far more durable than the original stencil and would be a lot cheaper…..the vinyl is cut on a laser-plotter connected to a PC….cheap,quick and effective.

the vinyl comes in 3-year and 10 -year qualities….but that is for shop and vehicle signs exposed to sun and elements…would last better indoors, I think.

Suggestion 2….good stationers, -dry transfer lettters/numerals.

clean the work (meths is good) lay transfer sheet with required item in correct position,..scribble over it with a ball-pen and the item transfers.

you need to lacquer it after as they just rub off otherwise.

Catty…and all who follow with this problem 🙁

Go to a cookware shop and buy an oven -thermometer….you can then calibrate and mark your dial.(see previous post on Vinyl and Letraset )

It will probably be more accurate than the original printing, which os probably just an “around-about” sort of average,deduced from a batch of thermostats. 😀
