test has come up on my machines screen

i have a hotpoint wf840 washing machine and test has come up on the screen i am guessing that some how i’ve gone into test mode but have no idea hoe to get out of it can anyone help thanks steve

No mate, you got me stumped on that as I have no technical ifo on that model 🙁

Does your User Instruction Book not tell you how to reset it I wonder?

HI Steve,

Try switching off the appliance and unpluging it as it should then restart in normal operation mode by default

if you accidently push the on/off and start buttons together, this put the appliance into a test/demo mode. to cancel it you just need to push the on/off and start buttons at the same time and “d off” should be displayed on the screen and it should now work as normal
