    I ordered a fridgefreezer from Electrical Experience on 02/11/2011 and paid £35 for next day home delivery. The delivery address is near Lancaster city centre. They delivered it, a heavy and bulky item, two days later (04/11/2011), but only to the boundary of my house, just in front of my garage door, which is almost 15 meters away from my house. I called the company about this, but the answer was that this was Electrical Experience’s delivery policy and if I wanted it to be carried near the house (let alone into the house) there would be extra charges (something like £60). This left me no option but to refuse it because there was no way that I could handle this huge item. I’m still waiting for an answer from them.

    I contacted them again, they refused to give me immediate full refund saying that they hadn’t had the appliance back yet as it was still in the hands of the courier. 🙁

    I just wonder why you ordered the appliance online? Do you not have a local retailer?
