Well got into work this morning with no work booked, shop dead as anything, phone rang about three times all morning, no last minutes, No Nothing, having a quick wander around the HIgh STreet showed that there were not many people about and about at all.
In Ten years this is the strangest Christmas yet ! I only hope this is not a prelude to whats to come in the new year. On a more positive note we have been flat out for months now, anyway decided to close up and come home and out my feet up for a few days, Maybe Wednesday when we get back the phones will be ringing of the hook with calls ! 😉

How weird, its been exactly the opposite here, the last couple of weeks have been manic, went out at 6.45am this morning to the first of seven calls I had booked in for today. This weeks takings are the third highest this year.
The roads are very busy and the local shops/supermarkets are packed out. :con:
Had enough now, calls already booked in for Thursday.

Been very busy on the run up to xmas but started to slow up on tuesday managed to get tided up by 5.30 yesterday had an engineer on call today but he didnt receive a single call today ,you can never predict anything in this game :rolls: Merry christmas 😀

Last xmas was rubbish and this year friggin’ dire for me. The trade is going belly up and no mistake. Whenever the subject comes up Jim is always busy and he is first to tell us about it. Good for you Jim but no comfort for many of us reading it. Bah, humbug sod Christmas 2011…… 👿

Its normally the other way for me, the week before and the couple of weeks after Christmas are usually quite, for some reason this one has been very different. 8)
I did also mention the marked difference in the shops in this area as well. 😛

Well, merry Christmas anyway regardless of how good or bad it is or whether the sky is falling or not which, TBH, I don’t much care about for a few days. 😉
