The Search Thing

Okay so I’m going on and on about the engineer search, I know.

But, with good reason. Also the reason I’ve been particularly and, unusually, quiet of late. I’m busy working on this.

Apart from anything else I’m going to run a bit of an experiment or two over the coming weeks and, as usual, I like to have all my ducks lined up and ready for getting shot.

Part of that is to build the largest and, most accurate, database of independent engineers in the UK bar none. I’m already well on my way with that, I’ve added over 1300 entries in the past few days, I expect the number to rise to somewhere about 2-3000 by weeks end.

Standing out, having your info up to date in that sort of a crowd for most people isn’t optional, it’s an imperative.

There will be some serious SEO stuff going on, I expect call volumes will lift accordingly due to that.

There are also some bada$$ changes being made at the backend which, I hope, will lead to further work from corporate sources becoming available in time.

I can’t say too much till I’ve got all those ducks ready to go but, trust me, there’s a heap more I’m going to be doing with all this stuff which is all good for the indies. I would appreciate a little support with it in terms of prodding the muppets that can’t see the wood for the trees at times.
