ParticipantGood afternoon all,
I wonder if someone can point me in the right direction please. I have an electric Zenith Leisure 100 Range Cooker ZE10CRA.
The clock and fan overn have failed – yet the second oven & hob work fine. I believe it may be the thermal cut out? The problem I have is that although I can buy the part, I can’t find it anywhere on the oven! I’m looking for a button cut out ( like on a tumble dryer). I’ve lifted all the insulation away and I can’t find one. Does anyone know where it’s located please? I’ve seen pictures showing it as on the side wall, but it’s not there. Could it be I have a different type? There is a thick brown wire with some red sleeving in the middle – could that be some kine of couple?
Many thanks
Sean

It should look like this and I think towards the rear:

But shown as item 477 on the blowout attached.

Thanks, no sign of that at all.
I do have this wore though – one on each oven. Thats all I can see on the chassis.[

Yup, the looks like the older one if memory serves as I know they updated those a while back.

Ah, I wonder if that’s why the new ones have spade connectors included? So I can cut and fit the new type…

Pretty much, yes. That old type hasn’t been available for a few years now so it needs that new kit putting in.

Morning,
Ok, I’ve fitted the new cut out and all is well…except now the “keep warm” plate neon is lit constantly even though the knob is set to off.The plate doesn’t warm up. Now all I’ve done is swap the connections over on the cut out.
It’s no big problem, just a bit odd!
