ParticipantHi all, new to this forum.
I have a question re the location of the Fridge thermistor on a Beko CDA565FW.
I have located and replaced the EVA thermistor but, I cannot find the fridge one. I believe it is buried somewhere in the EPS. Unlike similar fridges where the cable leaves the control box at the bottom, mine leave at the top (see photo attached, unfortunately upside down and can’t rotate). I have made an exploratory search under the foam where others have located one but found nothing.
Any help would be much appreciated. Cheers, JGH99

I reversed it for you
have heard this problem a lot Beko don’t supply thermistor as a spare but but some dealers have managed to find one that will do
problem is you have to dig out insulation but not damage aluminium tubes. then affix thermistor and fill foam back in

Thanks Dave, Whitegoods have supplied the parts and I have already replaced the one tied to the evaporator. For the other I’m happy to dig out the foam. Not that difficult as I have already done so in the location indicated by others. Just like to find out where it is before I end up with all the foam off.

just checked Beko tech in case there were feeling helpful but no since they don’t list the evap sensor for this model they don’t tell you were to find it
hopefully a fridge engineer on here might see it and give some advice

Just wanted to give an update on this.
Finally sorted
I gave up trying to find the location of the fridge thermistor. Instead, I just cut the connector off of the existing thermistor cable. This is the one that goes to KN3 on the control board. Then I fitted a new thermistor into the hole I had already made(see photos above) which is roughly in the middle of the fridge cooling plate. Drilled a hole in bottom right hand corner of the box and ran the cable back to the control board through the foam insulation. Soldered on the connector from old thermistor (not polarity sensitive). Used some heat shrink to cover the joint.
All fitted back together and working perfectly.
Cheers, JGH99.
