    I also have an AEG oven that keeps on turning off. It switches back on again after a while, but I suspect it is the thermostat. Could you please point me towards the right part?

    Sounds more like an overheat switch to me.

    I’ve bought the Thermal cut-out switch, but can someone point me towards instructions. Where is it located and how do I get to it?

    Um, sorry, no – forum rules and all that (top of this forum) – we can’t walk you through it.

    Hint – take the lid off and see what you find. Make a diagram before pulling any wire and ensure that the power is off.
