Thermostat for a Smeg A2-5

I’m trying to source a thermostat for the smaller right hand oven of our Smeg Opera A2-5 cooker.

For some reason the main oven thermostat is readily available around £20, the one for the smaller oven is hard to find and listed around £60. What are the chances that the main oven one would work in the small oven?

no manufacturer supplies the same stat at 2 different part no and prices

there is a 10 degree difference in the stats plus it looks like one has 3 terminals the other has 2

I have found it priced at £45 but they have to order it so check prices first

The main oven thermostat was 818731138 that was changed to 818731179 but if your cooker was made prior to 26/10/2003 you cannot fit the later thermostat as an extension rod is needed that is obsolete and there is no solution I’m afraid.
