    Hi,
The thermostat in our main oven has gone. The oven is an electrolux eod982w. I’ve have the replacement part – a diamond H et46th with type et51 (ordered from partmaster).
The problem I have is that the original thermostat is different and the instructions that came with the new part are no use.
The wiring on the old thermostat is as follows:

6 – Short red wire that connects to a connector on the center of the thermostat
    5 – no connection
    4 – no connection
3 – Yellow wire that goes to main oven light
2 – red wire that goes to timer
1 – red wire that goes to timer
G – Black wire and red wire. Black wire goes to light on control panel, red wire goes into main bulk of wires and couldn’t trace

On the new thermostat I have the following connectors

    earth
    A – single connector
    B – double connector
    C – double connector

Has anyone wired this up before and can tell me where the wires on my oven need to connect to?
    Thanks
    Pete

Partmaster should be able to give you info on how to wire it up which will depend on just what it is that they’ve supplied to you and assuming that it is the correct replacement thermostat.
