    I got the new Thermostats for my Hotpoint TC71P today many thanks. Question is which one goes where as they both appear identical? the fault was with the green spot thermostat which I guess was the one shot. Neither of the 2 new ones are marked in this way. One has a “100” marked on it and the other “130” which I am guessing is a temperature rating – otherwise nothing to distinguish them. I suspect the 130 should be the one shot – formerly the green spot but would appreciate advice

    Was there not a piece of paper explaining this in the box? Look at the arrangement of holes and the connector tags.

    130 is the safety, fit in left hand hole. Do change both for good practice.

    Excellent. As I suspected.
    I have changed both and no there was nothing supplied with the stats.
