thinking of a miele tumble dryer – why the short guarentees?

Hello, I’d just like to know what your thoughts are regarding the Miele tumble dryers. Why is it that their guarentees are shorter than on their w/machines (2 years or so compared with 10)? We already have a Miele d/w and this is excellent. Many thanks in advance. Nick

Extended guarantees come at a price don’t forget, the price of their washing machines is ramped up to allow for that. Their dryers on the other hand represent better value for money and are extremely reliable. Miele do provide extended warranties on their range of dryers should you wish to pay that little bit extra?

Oh I dunno Martin 😀 You ever lifted one of them…..It aint no White Knight and neither is the materiel.
Not knocking WK they are IMHO value for money and pretty reliable, but Miele is the dogs danglies 😉 .
